Al-Alim Fazil Farook is a Senior Islamic Lecture Consultant in Islamic Banking & Takaful  as well Islamic Shariah Law Corporate Consultancy. Beginning his formative years in Royal College, Colombo, Fazil went onto graduate as Dhawrathul Hadees and Alif Fadhil from Darul Uloom Islamiyah, South Africa; Hafeez-ul-Quran from Darul Uloom Hashimeeya, Sri Lanka; and completed a course from the International Islamic University Malaysia. Moulavi M Fazil Farook is a distinguished scholar in Islamic Banking and Finance. He is a member of the Banking and Advisory Committee of the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulema and a member of the Shariah Advisory Councils for a number of Islamic Financial Institutions including Amãna Takaful Maldives PLC. He is a former member of the Shariah Advisory Councils of Amana Takaful Ltd (Sri Lanka).

Al-Alim Mohamed Jawed Iqbal, a graduate of Darul Uloom Zakariya in South Africa and a former student at Belvior College International. He completed his Hifzul Quran and began teaching at CIT in 2009.

Al-Alim Abdullah Mohamed Khaleel, a graduate of Darul Uloom Islamiyyah Newcastle, South Africa, and a former student of Zahira College. He also completed his Hifzul Quran and began teaching at CIT in 2010.

Al-Alim Mohamed Ansar Mohamed Aasir Hussain, a graduate of Al-Kulliyathul Khilariyah Arabic College and a former student at Wycherly International School. He earned a Diploma in Information Communication and an Islamic Finance Qualification while completing his Hifzul Quran and joining CIT as a lecturer in 2011. Al Alim Mohamed Ansar also works for Hatton National Bank as a Shariah Advisor and for Crest Gems as a Manager.

Al-Alim Hafiz Mubarack Mohamed, a graduate of Darul Uloom Hashmiya and a former student of Alethea International School. He completed his Hifzul Quran and began teaching at CIT in 2012.

Al-Alim Mohamed Mubarack Ahmed Deedat, a graduate of Hashimiyya Arabic College and a former student of Alethea International School. He completed his Hifzul Quran and began teaching at CIT in 2012.

Muhammed Farooqe, Al-Alim Muhammed Riyas, a graduate of Rashad Arabic College and a former student of Arafa Central College in Kandy. He’s finished the Hifzul Quran and the Iftha. In 2012, he began working at CIT as a lecturer. Al Alim Muhammed Farooqe is also a Deputy Principal at the Jamia Ibnu Umar for Islamic Higher Education.

Al-Alim Fazil Abdul Cader, a graduate of Al-Humaidiyya Arabic College and a former student at Central College, Kattankudy. He also earned a specialization in Hadith (Pakistan) and a BA in Islamic Studies while completing his Hifzul Quran and joining CIT as a lecturer in 2011. Al Alim Fazil is also the Mahmood Institute’s principal and the Makthab Division’s secretary, as well as an executive member of the All Ceylon Jammiyathul Ulama.

Al-Alim Mohammed Lafeer Mohammed Infaz, a graduate of Hashimiyyah and a former student of C.I.S-Crescent International School. He completed his Hifzul Quran and began teaching at CIT in 2003. Al Alim Mohammed Lafeer is also a business owner.

Rashad Arabic College graduate Al-Alim Muhammed Saumy Careem. In Saudi Arabia, he earned a Diploma in Arabic Language and an Iftha from the University of Azhar. In 2009, he began working at CIT as a lecturer. Al Alim Saumy Careem also gives motivational talks and preaches on Fridays.

Anwarul Uloom Arabic College graduate Al-Alim Abdus Sathar. In Saudi Arabia, he earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Higher National Diploma in education, as well as an MA in education from the Khartoum International Institute and a Ph.D. in education from the Republic of Sudan. In 2015, Al-Alim Abdus Sather began working at CIT as a lecturer.

Hashimiyya Arabic College graduate and former lecturer Al-Alim Fazmeer Ruzaik He earned a BA in Islamic Higher Studies and began teaching at CIT in 2019.

Al-Alim Ruzaik Ismeth, a graduate of Colombo Institute Of Theologians and a former student of Hejaaz International School. He also holds a Bachelor of Islamic Studies, an HND in Psychology, and a counseling diploma. He started as a lecturer at CIT in 2013 and at the same time works at Careline Counseling Services.

Al-Alim Yoonus Saleem, a former Zahira Collage student and CIT graduate. He completed his Hifzul Quran and began teaching at CIT in 2013.

Al-Alim Muhammed Bin Ousman, a graduate of the Colombo Institute of Theologians and a former student of Zahira College. He completed his Hifzul Quran and began teaching at CIT in 2016. He also holds an HND in journalism and media management and has completed an Open University teacher training course.

Al-Alim Mahdy Mubarack, a graduate of Dharul Uloom Al-Hashimiyyah Arabic college and a former student at Lyceum International School. He’s also finished the Hifzul Quran. In 2018, he began working at CIT as a lecturer.

Al-Alim Muhammed Iyard Nusayir, a graduate of Colombo Institute Of Theologians and a former student of Asian International School. In 2019, he began working at CIT as a lecturer.

Al-Alim Zakir Misbah, a graduate of Colombo Institute Of Theologians and a former student of Sailan International School. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies. He also has an Executive Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance and a higher national diploma in psychology. In 2017, he began working as a lecturer at CIT and as a guest lecturer at Mahmood Institute. He works at Careline Counseling Centre as a Counselor.

Al-Alim Yoonus Shafie, a Netherfield International School primary student, had completed his Islamic studies and graduated from CIT. He’s also finished his LLB(UOL) and AAT (finalist). In 2019, he began working as a lecturer at CIT while also interning at the Chambers of Faisz Mustapha PC.
